Pack 900 and Troop 900 had a great time supporting the community at the 38th Annual Goldston Old Fashioned Day on Saturday, October 11, 2025!
Our Scouts set up the familiar Pack 900 tent right in the heart of the festival and spent the day serving up roasted corn on the cob as a fundraiser. The weather cooperated, the crowds were friendly, and the classic small-town atmosphere of Goldston made for a perfect fall day of Scouting in action.
From the yellow and blue Scout hats parked under the tent to the steady stream of neighbors stopping by for a hot ear of corn, it was clear our unit is becoming a regular part of this long-running Goldston tradition. Events like this help fund future adventures while giving our Scouts a chance to practice leadership, customer service, and teamwork in a real-world setting.
Thank you to every Scout, parent, and leader who helped make the day a success. We appreciate the Goldston Lions Club for putting on such a fun community celebration, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
