Troop 900 made the annual trip to Winterplace Resort for a weekend of skiing and snowboarding — and the mountain delivered some seriously cold conditions!
Judging by the photos, the temperatures were brutal. Trees, gear, and more than a few Scouts ended up coated in ice. It was the kind of deep-winter cold that makes every run feel earned and every warm lodge break feel like pure luxury.
Despite the freeze, the Troop had a great time on the slopes. Some Scouts were carving clean turns, others were still figuring out their snowplows, and everyone was sharing laughs (and the occasional wipeout) between runs. These trips are as much about the camaraderie and the challenge of dealing with real winter weather as they are about the skiing itself.
Big thanks to the adults who drove, chaperoned, and kept everyone safe in the cold. Another solid Winterplace trip in the books for Troop 900.
